The Power of Words

Hafiz, an Iranian spiritual poet, once said, “The words you speak become the house you live in.” Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto proved that Hafiz was right.
For 30 days, students said the phrases “Thank you” and “You fool” to rice in two containers. The cooked rice in the “Thank you” container remained almost the same, while the other rice in the “You fool” jar became moldy and rotten. Emoto took pictures of the effects of the positive and negative words on the water. The water’s vibrations from the voices showed the same result as his rice experiment.
Emoto included the experiments in his books, The Messages from Water (1999) and The Hidden Messages in Water (2005). His findings captivated people around the world.
